Freshly Caught Seafood For My Tank

I think it is ok but it is better to be safe than sorry. I caught some silversides at the beach the other day when catching bait to go fishing . After another unsuccessful day of fishing I released the live ones and took a couple of the dead ones home. I quickly washed them off in fresh water and put them in the freezer. Do you think i could feed them to My anemone to vary his diet a little, or do you think it would be safer to avoid freshly caught from the beach? Just curious what you guys

adding coral rubble from beach to tank

A friend of mine just brought me a crap load of coral rubble home from Aruba. I was just wondering how do I treat it so I can add it to my tank, or if I can at all. I have been looking up adding coral rubble on the internet and it seems everyone has a different opinion on the matter. What do you think I should do? I was just going to boil a couple of pieces and incorporate the pieces very slowly on a weekly basis.
