  1. I just finished cycling my latest reef tank and am now adding corals and a few fish. I have a 65 gallon (48x12x24) with 216 watts of t5, running a cpr bakpak dual pak. Currently have 3 green chromis, 1 coral beauty, and a lawnmower blenny. I have a couple of frogspawn, some green and yellow star polyps a leather and some zoos. Cleanup crew is slowly but surely winning the diatom war. If anybody has any tips on quieting down the noise from the skimmers on the bakpak I'd love to hear them.

bubble tip not bubbly

by lastcavalier on 07-08-2012 at 10:02 AM
Can anybody tell me why my bubble tip is no longer bubbly? After about two days in it started looking more like a long tentacle. There is currently a maroon clown hosting in it. Here is a pic.

Fewer bubbles

After the bakpak has been up and running for a few days the micro bubbles have really cleared up. I am still having the noisy problem when running the skimmers though.
