Here's my Full Tank Movie. I've been at Vegas for the past week and see lots of evidence that coralline algae is growing nicely, if only on my front glass. lol.
Enjoy.
Hello Everyone and Happy 4th,
Let's remember who to thank for today;-)
Now, I've a Coral banded Shrimp and it's molted once again. Is there a rhyme or reason as to why and how often they molt? Any Guesses out there?
Thanks,
Only 90 Days old and I've had a 29 gallon sump crack/leak, replaced that with a 40 gallon Breeder for a sump, Built a new Stand and Swapped the old stand out with the new stand. So far, it appears that I only lost 1 Turbo Snail. ( He stunk when I pulled him out of the QT tank, so, maybe it was his time.) Otherwise, All my fins and corals appear to have made it through the ordeal of the past 2 weeks.
Well, After about 9 days of hard labor, the new Stand is completed. I had help from my cousin on the skinning of it. Am hopeful to begin the Stand Swap on Friday. Any words of wisdom on doing a stand swap out there?
Below are some pix of the build. The inside is Kilnz and then a Qt of HD's - Behr's Semi-Gloss Interior Enamel paint. (purchased for only a buck, some one else's "opps Paint" but, the type and color were okay for my purposes.)
Thanks,
