When here's my disaster story.
Lost power last night to tank on dedicated GFI breaker.
Found the sump over flowed because returned back siphoned and were not in top off tank like they should have been. Well I have a tray underneath the sump that drains by 3/4" uniseal and 3/4" PVC pipe to garage floor. Well that worked too so not big deal right? WRONG!

I'm been reef keeping close to decade and had strange experience this last week.
My last tank lasted 6 years before losing power while away. I have slowly and carefully restocked tank. I had 4 tangs in system in two different connected tanks.
All fish were quarantined with Copper Citrate and Prazipro for 2 weeks. All ate well and and had not visible scars, parasites, fgungal infactions ect.
I had them in same system for about 10 weeks and 3 of four died
Coigula is the affectionate name of one of my 3 tangs (and my screen name). I have been keeping reefs since 2002 and am on second tank. I have followed some of the trends in hobby and ignored others.
