    Marc I remember reading about you doing something about how the water moves through the teeth into the external overflow to quiet it down or improve the laminar flow? What was that? I can't find it. I'm setting up my new tank.

    Hey Melev. I have a question about posting videos on Reef Addicts Blog. I have been having trouble loading some videos while creating a new blog. I go to the "attach pictures" thingy where you upload and then drag the photo down, then put it on the blog. The short videos I have can be avi or mp4 files but neither worked. They are videos of some creatures in my tank I wanted help identifying. Is this only for pictures? And if so, is there any way to upload videos to a blog?     I found a an article you posted showing 4 bulkheads installed in the bottom of a glass box added on the outside of a tank. My question is how did you cut those slots. It's been a long time since I posted here on RA, mainly because my focus has been on Melev's Reef. Still, RA is dear to my heart due to all the information that has been stored here over the years, documenting my 400g build and all the discussions we had when blogging wasn't even cool yet.

The 400g is currently 4.5 years old, and doing great. Here's a recent picture.

If you follow my youtube channel, you've probably heard how I have to get my arms wet and really cull the 400g reef because the growth at the top is shadowing everything beneath, and those things beneath have little chance of living. Had a surprise guest tonight. I was working on something and he and his wife showed up at my door to visit. My tanks were all less than stellar because I haven't cleaned the glass lately, and it occurred to him that he could try using his iPhone 7 Plus to take some underwater pictures. My frag tank is low enough for an easy test. So here are three he shared.

I bought myself this bandsaw over two years ago at the Denver MACNA. It was basically a gift to myself, but I never opened the box until two weeks ago when I started fragging some corals at last. It's pretty impressive, and hence I had to make a video about it.
