So to make a long story short I have a Odyssea POS 250W MH fixture (with four 65W PC's) that I can no longer get MH bulbs for unless I replace the ballasts. In doing some hunting around online I found that the Icecap 250W ballasts would work. But I have not been able to find anyone with them in stock. I just now read that icecap went out of business. Is that true? Anyone have any ideas on other ballasts that I could use?

I'm ordering a Reeflo dart hybrid pump from Marinedepot.com (once they are in stock) to replace the two mag 12 pumps that I currently use on my freshwater 500 gallon tank. (I know is FW and this is a SW site, sorry) My question is can I run 1 1/2" plumbing on the inlet side of the pump instead of the 2"? The reason I ask is the cost of the 2" bulkheads, ball valves, and unions is way more than the 1 1/2" parts. Is using 1 1/2" parts going to be ok or should I just bite the
I thought that I would post a few pictures of my tank. It's a standard 90 gallon tank with 2 250W MH, and 4 65W PC's. It's mostly soft corals but there is a few LPS and SPS corals. I also tried to get a good picture of my newest fish, a purple tang. But he's fast and hard to get good pictures of. And I just have a little PHD (push here dumby) camera. I'm currently working on getting my in wall 180 set up that will have a fish only 125 tied into it as well.
