    Well, been a long while since I have been here. Life is going, still not fully recovered from the staph infection. Still feel sluggish and weak most all the time.

    My wife's neurosarcoidosis has gotten worse over the past few months and our finances have definitely shown it. Right now we are staying in our little RV at a friends place and most everything we have is in storage. My tank is still up and running for the time being at another friends but I am going to have to give away most all of my stock and start over again at another time.

    Have been trying to create some more websites to help bridge the gap but seems like the economy isn't helping that out very much and then some other things happen to shut me down at most every turn.

    Things will look up eventually but for right now they are pretty far down.

    Everything is in, had a bulb go out and have to get it replaced. Was out of town for a while and ended up with a real bad staph infection, been sleeping about 18 hours a day trying to heal up and feel pretty awful. When I get the bulb replaced I will see about getting a FTS.

    Hey NightShade, I would love to see a pic of ya tank now. I know ya put the new coral and rocks in ya tank; how are they doing? You could add ya pic to the thread "February FTS".

    Everything is doing well, all the zoa's have at least one new polyp and a couple have more. Been busy lately with stuff,life in general has been busy and our friend who lives with us had a seizure the other night for no apparent reason and bit her tongue and ended up in the hospital. Cam home the next day after being gone for most of the day and our TV went on the blink. . .

    Have to do some work out of town leaving out on the afternoon of the 16th and will be gone until around the 20th or so. Also have to make a run down past dallas to pick up some machinery for a friend.

COMAS frag swap, April 9th

The COMAS frag swap will be held on April 9, 2011 at the University of Central Oklahoma venue, in Edmond Oklahoma.

This is open to everyone, but you need be a COMAS member to bring frags for trade or sale.

COMAS sponsors are invited and should contact Paul Whitby, the President of COMAS for details on sales.

You may bring small tanks, but they can be no larger than 30gallon and need have their own stand.

Smaller tanks, 10g, can be set up on tables

Got a smartphone with GPS

Not really reef related but can be useful just the same.

My phone has GPS ability and it is really nice for a lot of things, Especially paired with Google maps and the search by voice functionality. All you have to do is search for something like "auto parts" and it will show stuff close to where your location is and don't have to pay for the feature especially if your carrier has a map program.

Ok so I was out doing some stuff yesterday at Home Depot and Wal-mart and since my sediment filter is really looking rusty already thought about picking up a cheap one and swap it out. Anyway got to looking and the one I saw available at Home Depot was like 30 microns which seems way high and the ones at Wal-mart are Dupont brand but have absolutely no information on them. So I put in an e-mail to Dupont to try and get the information and while I am at it figured why not put together some information
