So i tried emailing melev but i figure he was busy. I need advice from someone who works with acrylic often, or is very knowledgeable about tank building. My question is I want to build a tank. The dimensions are 24x24x12 inches (approx 30g). If i want it to be rimless, will 3/8in be fine? I asked a few other people and answers varied. Thnx guys
Well i have a 75gallon already. things got put on hold since i came to school in texas. so ive been reading alot on forums and such. and since the first article i read about plywood tanks i have been INFATUATED. just the thought of making a bigger tank. But at the same time i havent started my 75 so i dont quite know what to expect. building the thing is not a problem. Right now im just thinking 6feet long, 3 feet wide, 30inches deep. but I'm wondering if a new guy to reefing should even be considering
Since Ive been in houston, i realized that south carolina isnt my speed really. but i know i also dont want to stay in Houston. Me and my girl were talking and these are the things that we know we want.
1) It has to have four seasons
2) we love big trees
3) beautiful surroundings
4) we are more suburbian people
5) all places are an option, but the east coast is a plus
so to all the travelers out there, what are some of your suggestions
