All,
I am selling my Current 48" Dual 150W MH Lighting Fixture. This fixture is awesome, I just don't have a need for it anymore. I have held onto it for the last 4-months thinking I may need it for something. I am located in N. Dallas (Carrollton) and available for pick up. I would entertain shipping it if someone was interested.
Question: Why is he selling it?
Answer: I currently have a 100-gallon Oceanic Starphire that is 48" long, it was a great light for this set up. I am currently working on a 210-gallon build and have a 72" LED Lighting fixture that I will be using. The simple answer is the Current fixture is 24" too short and lacking a few hundred watts... LOL
Question: Is there anything wrong with it?
Answer: No, technically speaking this light is fully fuctional. However, it was originally built with 6 blue LED lights to be used as moon lighting. Those LED(s) have been disconnected because I never used them.
Question: How old are the bulbs?
Answer: The MH bulbs are about 6-months old. Still very good bulbs and very blinding. The 4 pin square PC Actinics are brand new, used about a month. I also have an extra PC actinic bulb.
Question: What kind of MH bulbs are installed?
Answer: 20K is what is currently installed. I also have a set of 14k that are also about 4 months old which I did not like. I have them somewhere and will throw them into the deal as well.
Question: Can I see a picture of it?
Answer: Yes, Reef Addicts is the first place I'm posting this for sale. Thought I would start here first. I will get a picture posted this weekend sometime if someone is interested. I will post a pic of it un-lit and with all bulbs firing.
Question: How much are you asking for it?
Answer: I am looking for around $350. This sold new for a little over $800 so... more than half off is fair in my opinion. Plus, you'll get MH bulbs with life left on them, and new PC bulbs with one extra.
Question: I really want to email this guy, does he have some other sort of contact information I can reach him at?
Answer: Seriously?... of coarse I do... email me at airmailone@verizon.net
Question: I would really like to test this on my tank, would he entertain allowing me to take a test drive?
Answer: Sure, for $350 I will let you take it home and sleep with it....
Question: Does this come with any warranty?
Answer: Don't be silly... (LOL)
