    Those darn whelks are worthless. I put a few in my quarantine tank to keep it clean of algae between new arrivals, but in the end I didn't trust them with my livestock. Now I just look for them and remove them entirely.

    When I was watching this snail on what was left of my sps frag, I could see it sucking out the inside. It almost looked like it was drinking out of a straw. I never actually saw a straw, but thats what it looked like. Kind of like a Vampire.

    wow just recently got one from a lfs and the owner said they where awesome just to make sure i got one of the ones pictured mine buried itself in the sand as soon as i put it in the tank and i usually just see it at night so mark do you think i should get rid of it and why luckily i have only one

    also the day i got it i looked at it as soon as i put it in my tank and wondered what the heck the straw looking thing was used for now i see prob for eating sps haha damm snail
