Tear down the wall

That seemed like an appropriate title for this entry. Today, I wanted to tear down the wall that made up the old tank stand. The platform was pulled out that was built almost exactly six years ago. It took a lot of muscle, as it was built to last. My son provided that need.
While the stand and walls had to come out, I wanted to keep the wooden walkboard that the manifold is supported by. Additionally, I had some electrical conduit that needed to remain.
Oops! I didn't remember this part: Apparently, I ran the front beam into the wall for some reason, probably for additional stability and to avoid front to back racking.
The house was a mess! A single outlet was in the way, but a Saws-All quickly cut out a notch in each stud to move that electrical box out of our way.
My son continued to wage war against this obstacle.
The water heater plumbing I often mention, which is 100% in my way for the new tank. A friend is coming over tomorrow to help discuss any options.
With the insulation, sheetrock and studs hauled out to the street, the sump is exposed. Also, the electrical box that ran all the lighting was extracted; one DJ switch was relocated to power the lights directly over the vats.
The plumbing is going to be a challenge since it has to be moved with the sump into the living room area.
I spent some time thinking about those water heater pipes, trying to see if inspiration would strike.
Next, the door was pulled out.
Leaving a huge opening. With the stand in place, this spot will be sheetrocked shut.
Let me just point this out now: Stuff I build definitely isn't designed to be torn out. Today was a lot of work as everything was stubborn as hell, holding like it meant to survive Armageddon.
The rest of the electrical needs to be moved, the sump extracted from the room, and then the tear out of the closet.
