Hey guy's,
I'm new to keeping SPS corals. A few day's ago I picked up a couple of Acro's and Milli's, I live in Sydney Australia, you wouldn't believe how hard it is for us to buy SPS, all our collectors prefer to ship them to you guy's, rather than to sell to local people, must be better money? Any way, my question is, would I be correct in saying that if my SPS are showing polyp extension then they are happy? I currently have them sitting at the bottom of the tank. I can see that the one's that are Not in strong water flow are showing polyp's, the one's in strong water flow are not. Is it way too early for all of them to be showing polyp's? Or should I reduce my flow? I'm running two MP40WES Vortech's on long pulse mode, so it wouldn't be hard for me to reduce flow. Also how long should I wait till I move them to higher level's in the tank?
Thank's guy's, and keep up the good work Mark, oh by the way when is the next podcast going up?
