Tank update

Rate this Entry
My tank is doing good. Oscellaris clowns and Green BTA seem to be enjoying their new home. They have been in the tank for about a month now. My understanding of corals is that the softies are a little less maintenance that sps/lps so I think I am going to take a trip to Fintastic in Charlotte and see what I can get.

I do have a bit of green algae left over from cycling but it is not too bad. Which snails are best for glass and rock that won't plow over frags and what are people using nowadays to attach corals to rock?

One other question, my chaeto in the sump does not seem to be doing anything. Shouldn't it be absorbing the nutrients that the green algae is living off of?

Get some astreas, some ceriths, some nassarius, and some tiny hermits (red legged are better than blue). Those will help keep the tank clean. A couple of bulldozing Mexican Turbo snails are very helpful, if you don't mind needing to check on frags that may have toppled during their travels.

Yes, the cheatomorpha should be helping. How's its growth rate?
