Played with the camera a bit today and I think I got the coolest shot ever.
Here's Willard perched up on his favorite rock, nestled down in some unknown cool wavey red plants and the xenia in the background
I also took a few more shots, and figured I'd toss up some of the better ones. It's also the first time I've really taken pics since all the hair algae is gone, and the coralline is really taking over most of the rock work. Overall these are a mix of actinic shots and daylight shots. I'll start with the FTS
Couple shots of my Green Nepthya. The corraline growing on this rock is so far found nowhere else in the tank, but thriving like crazy on the rubble this is mounted to.
My Green Star Polyps have really been growing in the center section that just 2-3 weeks ago was completely barren thanks to algae.
Still one of my favorites. I really hope this splits soon and start spreading. It looks like on the back side of the polyp the orange is kind of pinching towards the center.. I'm hoping that means I'll at least have 2 soon.
My pulsing xenia... It has sprouted a 4th head in the back.
And then these 2.... well 3 now... they are the troopers. When I first swapped my lighting and all over, one of the first corals I bought was a run of the mill green zoanthid. My hermit crab decimated it by crawling all over it, and really tearing it up. I since returned him, but I lost the majority of the colony.... except for these 2 polyps... which I found floating in the tank, toss a bit of super glue on each, and stuck it to the rock lol.
Hopefully, within 2 weeks, I'll be getting a huge frag pack that a local store had on sale. 20 frags for 100 bucks. Lots of zoanthids and LPS in the mix, so it should fill this tank in nicely.
