Today I drove over to Fish2morow, a fish store in Fort Worth about 30 minutes away with good traffic. As I walked around his beautiful store checking out the choice corals and fish, I started noticing little things. It didn't take long for me to run out to the car, grab my Nikon D90, 105mm Macro lens and a tripod to get a few of these shots.
This first one is a Porcelain Crab in a Rock Anemone. These anemones are very sticky, so I was pretty surprised to see this crab being able to move about and not become a snack.
A polka-dotted mushroom
Some Harlequin Shrimp on a cucumber.
A Highfin Goby emerged. He must have been about 1" in length. The blue spots on his dorsal fin only revealed when he raised his fin.
And his Pistol Shrimp buddy came out as well.
Here is a Cameback Shrimp, which is recognizable by the hump on its back. This is NOT a Peppermint and will do damage to some corals.
This last picture was actually my first. Snail eggs! And proof of where they came from: A Tongan Nassarius Snail.
If you are in the area, this store won't let you down.
