DIY'ed my way into the ER tonight

So I'm in the process of building my stands for my 90 and 50 that will come together, and I decided to bring the frame for the 90 into the living room to check level in it's final spot. Turns out I needed to put a little bit of a shim under a corner to keep it from rocking about a sixteenth to an eighth of an inch, so I thought I'd glue it under there before taking it back out to the garage. Well, the gorilla glue had some dried glue in the tip and I just couldn't get it out. So what do I do? Take off the lid and try to push a metal kabob skewer through to clear it out! Unfortunately in the extreme effort to clear that sucker out I shifted my hand over the top...yeah...you know what's coming...it finally gives, and all of that pressure I was putting on it pushed the skewer right into my hand. I stabbed myself with a kabob skewer, and even got gorilla glue inside the wound! I thought I hit a bone until the Dr. said it likely hit a tendon in there instead. I got my 1st Tetanus shot since 1989 and came home to tell my story by painfully typing on the laptop. I'd take a pic but it doesn't look that bad. At least I found out that my stand is level, the tiny bit of rocking only happens if I press down on that corner. I'm ready to work on it some more when my hand heals up!
