This is one of the biggest weekends of my year. Marinelife Aquarium Society of Michigan puts on the Midwest Marine Conference every year, and this year we've expanded it to be a weekend long event. It's amazing what's come together for this years MMC, and I'm super excited.
At least I WAS super excited. Before my 4 year old son puked all over himself and my newly cleaned car this afternoon. Sigh. It hasn't repeated itself, and I did figure out he has a fever. My kids are, historically, all pukers when spiking a fever so I'm hoping, HOPING that all it is is the beginning of a cold. Grandma & grandpa will still take the kids if it's just a cold. They aren't so interested in puking kids for some reason. lol
On our way across the state, we are stopping to pick up some dry goods and livestock from Deb Berlin, owner of the now defunct DIYReef.com, then the airport to pick up a member of the Reef Stewardship Foundation, onto Tropicorium since we'll be right around the corner, and finally up to Cranbrook Institute of Science for the festivities.
Hopefully. Cross your fingers for me!!!!
