What are the issues with having a 48x48x12 ( inch ) frag tank with MH on one side and T5 on the other?

    Issues? None that I can see. This will allow you to have more direct control over what type of light specific coral get. At 12" deep you have a LOT of options

    Sounds like fun to me. You'll probably need two MH and two-to-four T5s.

    I would say this would work. MH is not needed at this Depth IMO. The last Coral issue writes about saving cost and calculating par to see what is needed.
