Starting over with my tank!

LFS trip today!

Rate this Entry
Like earlier noted, I'm blind, so I have set up for my son to pick me up today and bring me to the LFS. My mission is to get a protein skimmer and a wavemaker. I still need to figure out how to put pics on blog, (Any help in this area would be nice) thanks ahead of time.

Okay, let me tell y'all a little history. I've been around fish tanks all my life. My father was the president of the New Orlean fish club when I was young, thus we always had a lot of tanks around the home. (Fresh water tanks). Some 14 +\- years ago I had 5 freshwater tanks up and running and decided it was about time to start a marine tank.

Fastttt forwardddd....didn't wanna bore ya!!

A few years ago I gave the tank I'm building now to my son. He had an electrcal outage for hours.. Need I say more..the tank turned into a flower pot.

Well, I got the tank back and that's where I'm at now. Next post I will tell ya what equipment and livestock I have and hopefully post a few pics.

Sweet. Well good luck finding the equipment you need. Are you going with a Tunze wavemaker?

As for pics, there is a little "pic" icon in the formatting toolbar when you're writing a blog. If you click that, it'll make a pop up where you can upload from the computer or from an online link.

I thought perhaps you meant colorblind. We used to have a club member here that was colorblind and his tank was one of the most beautiful ones in the club, bursting with color of all varieties.

I'm colorblind with the vision I do have, for example I can't see yellow highlights on white paper. I normally can see bright colors though. I have most problems with dark colors-blues look blackand anyreal dark color looks black.
