Stop breaking already! Enough, alright?

Lately, it just seems like one thing after another breaks on the 400g setup. I've been having problems with two MH ballasts within a single month. I'm still trying to get that one sorted out, so for now I've got a Radion providing light where one MH belongs. Thought it was fixed last night, but today no light so the Radion is back on the light rack as of this afternoon.
Last week, the RO/DI system blew a fitting sending water shooting out in front of my face, and I had to fix that one on the spot. Which I did.
Last night I noticed a small puddle on the floor of the fishroom. A JF ball valve apparently isn't sealing 100%, so I tried to flush it out and re-seat the fitting in the closed position. In the process, I got water on a quick disconnect that runs to the skimmer waste collector's float switch, so that's offline now. Tried to find the issue, but no luck. The switch is still good, so I think one side of the quick disconnect needs to be replaced -- maybe it shorted if that is possible.
I get up today to a bigger puddle in the fish room. That valve didn't seal after all, so I did some PVC surgery, lopped off the section that used to lead to the old frag tank with a jigsaw, cleaned and glued a cap on the end of the fresh cut and let it cure for 10 minutes. No more drip now.
In other news, all water parameters are in good shape. I've been trying to find the sweet spot for the dosers on the 60g Frag System, and have got those three just about dialed in at last. The 400g's water quality is on target I'm happy to report.
