The first two photos are of the inner stand with primer. The paint was on in the rest of the photos. The area for the electronics is in black. The sump area or wet area is in white. This theme is used throughout this project. The white area also has a rubber coating. I noticed this stuff at Home Depot and decided to try it. Since this is for experimental reasons of sorts I figured I give it a try. The bottom of the stand is sealed so it should hold water if there is a minor spill. I plan on using two float switches front and back to shut down the system in the event enough water is spilled to trigger one of the floats. If there is a leak in the plumbing hopefully this will keep the mess confined to the stand and not all over the floor.
