Holy cow its been a while. Sorry Melve
I have sold all of the previous systems before we sold our home. We bought a new home and remodeled it to fit my new tank. This is a 234 cube custom built by Lemar. It is 30 x 60 x 30 open top. The sump is located in the basement in a new room we framed in and set up for a fully self contained fish room. It has its own sink, floor drain and dedicated power. In the cold storage behind we have fish storage to keep it out of the house and keep the wife happy. In it is a 70g mixing station for water changes. A water change takes approx 20minutes with the opening and closing of a few valves.
Stand and floating canopy is from Drift Wood Aquarium Furniture (www.customaquariumfurniture.com) (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Drift...60612167460740)
Lemar Tank from Aquatic Dreams (www.aquaticdreamer.com)
Sump from Elite Aquatics http://www.elite-aquatics.net/
Lighting is a mix of AI hydros and Vegas.
Skimmer is a Massive Vertex.

Here is a little history of the build last year.

A little honor from May!

We purchased the tank to go into a built in area in a home we were going to build.
We decided to purchase a different home and remodel it. We cut this wall so we could place the tank in it and see it from all sides.

It looks really nice Dion. I went ahead and made the pictures full size so people can easily scroll through the blog entry to see them all. Where does that staircase in front of the window lead? The basement?
  3. Dion Richins's Avatar
