I didn't post my pictures from the Blood Moon event two nights ago. This was shot with a 200mm lens.
And this one with a 300mm lens.
The event started just before 2 a.m. CST and I happened to check to see what the sky was like at that point. Not a cloud in sight, and I had a decent shadow in my backyard to set up the tripod to get these images. I used a infrared remote to activate the shutter, and even though I took about 20 pictures in 39° F weather, only these two were any good.
