Tank Update

Rate this Entry
Wow, I didn't realize how long it has been since I posted a blog entry update until I just now went back and looked at my last entry. On my last blog entry, I was posting some pcitures of some coral frags that I had recently gotten. Unfortunatly, they are no longer with us, bless their souls. Since my last blog entry, I had a tank crash that wiped out my whole tank except for my fish. i will try to blog about the experience soon, what led up to it, what I did to try and correct it, and the eventual outcome. Hint: It wasn't pretty. But, the silver lining was that it gave me a chance to start over. Before the crash I was running two AI Sol Blue LED pendants. After the crash, I decided to go back to metal halides until the LED market settled down a bit. Another blog on that whole switchover to come later. Anyways, I am back up and running, the coral in the tank now are about 7 months old. Doing great for a restart. I am including a few pics of a few coral that are currently in the tank, and I hope to blog updates on everything else soon.

Nice update, Jay. Your pictures look great, so I made them full size.

Please do post about those experiences you've had to deal with, as others will surely benefit from your words.

The FTS looks really good too. Next time, please do turn on the shadow box.
