One of these things is not like the others...

I got this new tang. His name is BillyBob (no I didn't name him), and he is awesome. He has some evidence of hard living, a scared face. He has a wonderful personality though, and really active all the time so I'm thrilled. He came from a wonderfully spoiled home and I hope that he is happy in his new permanent home soon. He changed colours a few days after I got him for about 5 minutes, it was really mesmerizing and stunning to watch. Apologies on the "phone quality" it was one of those, "oh grab a camera!" moments.
Been doing a lot of shopping and wanna-be shopping lately. I don't know what it is lately, but wow is it hard to get stuff shipped all of a sudden. So many problems with shipping issues, mostly delays, backorders, or supplier orders not being filled, etc. It sucks, but so is life.
I have my 4-way OM with drums now!
I've gotten half my pumps, I settled on 2 hammerheads, and a dart for now for tank circulation and return (aside from the OM). I need to find a backup pump to have on hand, but I have a bit of a storage issue now and I'm really afraid I'm going to buy something, put it somewhere and totally forget about it.
The above senario has already happened...twice. I bought, didn't put away, then threw out an entire bag of plumbing parts, and then did the same thing with probes and calibration fluid that I bought. DOH!
Tonight I'll charge my camera, and then I think I'll start on building some rockwork! I figure I'll just keep buying a box or two every little while until I figure out exactly how much rock I'll need to execute the designs I'm looking for.
I've been poking around looking at Prodibio and other such systems before I commit my cash to my original plan; reactors. I'm trying to find examples of established, or new tanks that started on the system then got off it and what were, if any, the reactions of the tank and inhabitants. I love the idea, but the cost is up there, and I've only budgeted long-term with about $250-$350/month in carrying and support costs.
