hello i thought i would update everyone on my build progress.

my sand came in today i ordered 75lbs of fiji pink from carib sea, yesterday i finished my plumbing up and i filled the closed loop intake line up with water to sorta leak test it so far so good we will find out for sure when its running. and right now my tank is being filled up with ro water it should be done some time tomorrow and ill start heating the water and testing the closed loop then ill get my salt mixed in.

if you havent been following along i have a 40gb running off the sump under the 125 and it has been running for about a month now on that filtration system prior to that the tank was running off its own sump for like 10 months so its a pretty well established system. so since my rock and sand are dry and the rock is mined out of the ground and doesnt need to cure. i think i should be able to open te valve up from my sump and start running the 125 on the sump with the 40gb without cycling the tank first. of corse there isnt any bacteria colonized in the 125 to support any live stock but im thinking in a couple of weeks i should be good to start moving my fish over to the new tank
