Back from the dead!

It's been forever since I've posted so I figure it's time I get back on and give an update on my tank!

What I'm working with:
75 gallon tank
2 mp10w es
15 gallon sump with completely undersized skimmer
Mag 9.5 return pump
8 x 54watt T-5's

The tank started as a quest to make a completely soft coral tank. And then my quest to keep a Orange Spotted Filefish began, and Acropora started entering the tank. My quest failed, all I had to show for it were a few ugly Acropora. I got rid of ones I really didn't like much, kept a few others and I just added the last rock to my tank. The tank is now about 2 1/2 years old. Now the tank is just maturing and finding the last couple coral pieces to finish the tank off and let'er run!

Fish:
Mated Pair of Yellow Tail Damsels
Mated Pair of Bangaii Cardinalfish
2 Tail-spot Blennies (Hoping they mate soon!)
2 Randall's Anthias (Had four, then the Cardinalfish chased two out the top!)
One Potter's Leopard Wrasse
One Blue-lined Rabbitfish
One Halichoeres Marginatus
One Blue-Striped Pipefish
One Red-headed Goby

There are plans for another pipefish for my male and possibly a few other fish. I like to push my limits!

Left half of the tank is nearly all soft coral, polyps, etc, the right half has the few Acropora, a couple Montipora, and a few brain corals (Favia, Acan Enchinata, Goniopora). The big white rock was added two weeks ago to give me some more coral space, still deciding what to add(feel free to chime in with any ideas!)!

And finally, a single picture. Not the best quality, but I'll add some better ones in subsequent blogs! Give me honest feedback, I take no offense if you think my tank is garbage!

Your tank is beautiful! I believe you're doing a great job too. You said you have an undersized skimmer, that would be the only thing I would change. Especially with the fish load, you'd want a bigger skimmer.

I mostly do water changes, 20-40 gallons as needed but I do need a bigger skimmer, but also need a bigger sump to go with it! Thanks for the kind words!

More photos! I want to see your pipefish and rabbitfish!

How do you like your pipefish? Does it do well in your system? Is it an active (visibile) fish in your system?

You asked what to put on the white rock. If you are looking for branching corals, I'd suggest orange and purple M. digitata. You seem to have a green version already, no? If not, get all three.

Pocillopora is nice as is Birdsnest, and both come in at least three versions of not more.

Welcome back. No more vanishing on us.
