So i have a 55 gallon tank that is mostly LPS, it currently is home to a foxface rabbitfish, flame angel, sailfin tang, and an ocellaris clownfish. It had a coral beauty that didn't make it due to inadequate IQ levels of a LFS employee, as well as a 6 line wrasse and another ocellaris that decided to go carpet surfing. The tank has been up around half a year, and seems to be doing well.
Earlier this evening i set a quarantine tank. It's nothing special, just a tank that was once one of Petsmart's displays running into a standard 20 gallon that i have converted into a sump. I started it with water from my 55, as i was doing a water change. As well as most of the rock was live when i put it in.
I am currently working on what is going to be "my baby". It consists of a 125 gallon display tank on the main floor and a 125 gallon refugium and a 40 gallon sump in the basement. The display tank, on the main floor has, replaced a wall between my living room and dining room. I built the stand to a massive 7'4" tall, 6' long, and raised the tank itself 4' from the floor as to give people more of a kids perspective of the tank as well as minimizing my sons little fingerprints. Not to mention i can still utilize that wall for my couch in my living room without blocking the tank if i so choose.
As soon as i figure out how i will post some pictures to clarify my language skills.
