Hey y'all, it's been a while. - Thought I would post my last video of my tank before the 700 mile trek to Fort Myers, FL. I see a lot of easy to move corals, but you've got a few that will be tricky. Thank goodness you don't have a full blown SPS reef - way harder to successfully move. 700 miles - sounds like 12 hours of driving to me. I hope it goes well for you, and I totally understand your looming concerns. Please let us know how it goes; we're rooting for your reef!

The main problem is that all of the corals are on 4 structures.. and this being a mixed reef, it's going to be a bit of a nail biter during transport with all of them close together and "uncomfortable". But oh well, we'll see what happens.

Lots of water, and lock in the temps during the drive with sealed ice chests. You don't want it to roll over and crush anything.

I'm originally from the east coast too!

Melev I like RA better lol! Mainly cuz there's only one melev!

    That's true.

I'm basically putting the four structures in 5G buckets, and using 3-4 pieces of fishing line tied to the structure and a 5G lid. It will keep it from tumbling. As for temp, I will coordinate via the AC in my car and a portable water temp monitor. This will work perfectly... in my head. I'm sure in practice it will be much harder.
