In the blink of an eye...

I happen to glance over at my reef right as the Eheim autofeeder plunged into the tank. It was still in feeding mode, rotating as it sank to the bottom of the tank. These auto feeders aren't cheap, so I quickly pulled it out of the tank and started disassemble immediately.
I drained off all the water I could find within, and then doused it with Rubbing Alcohol since Jonathan always has suggested that for flooded electronics. Maybe the innards will recover from their drowned condition.
The feeder was loaded with food recently, so that was wasted since it was nearly completely full of water. I think Spock pulled it into the tank, honestly. She's been swimming up into the chimney to grab food when it hits the water, and I could see how she'd be able to pull the entire thing in with a few strokes of her tail.
Update two days later: Put it all together today and it is working like it never happened. I shortened the chimney to reduce the amount of surface area Spock can drag against, and applied a fresh strip of Velcro to the acrylic to keep it where it belongs.
