On November 5, 2011, Fish2morow had its Customer Appreciation Day with some amazing specials. Upon my arrival at 10am, there was already quite a group forming at the front door. You had to get a ticket to get in, but I was allowed in immediately with my press pass: a Nikon D90. The reasoning for the tickets was to avoid overcrowding the store; each customer was given direct attention as a salesman became available.




I didn't take pictures where people were in the way, seizing the small windows of opportunity to get some decent pictures without being a nuisance.









Tons of beautiful corals were for sale, and they sold quickly. "Buy one, get one free" made it hard to resist.



Robert frags out and grows a lot of corals himself as he is very much a master reef-keeper.









Here are some corals that are in his show tanks, some are not for sale.


































Some tanks are made up like displays, while others were stair-stepped to sell corals like a fruit stand.




There were some very pretty anemones, like this one that is marked at $1000 (not for sale).







A bunch of BTAs and some pretty ORA clowns.



And these amazing Maxi-Minis taken with a 105mm Macro Lens.






The fish aisle is narrow and I didn't try taking pictures of the gorgeous fish because the lighting over these tanks is quite dim. Using a flash only makes for bad reflections. Wrasses, angels, clowns, and predatory fish were widely available.



I did get a decent shot of this Starry Blenny, although it is quite dark.




The invertebrate section had these small jars affixed at the top of the tank. Sexy shrimp, Porcelain crabs, Pompom Crabs, and golden Coral Banded Shrimp were tiny bits of fun that were easy to spot.















A pico tank has been established on the counter top by the register for a long time. This 7-gallon reef tank has its own sump hidden in the stand.










Robert is using the Portal Viewers on some of his tanks to see choice corals up close.












It was a fun day. I ended up coming home with two SPS colonies, two Pompom crabs and an emerald crab. See, I told you it was hard to resist.
