Tank update

Well it's been a while since I have wrote a tank update so here we go. I am still fighting the caulerpa outbreak in my tank but with regular trimmings and one of my newest tank addition (a yellow tang) it is starting to come under control a bit.
My wife found that there was water magically appearing around the tank and after further investigation I discovered my pump was leaking that cycled water in my closed loop system. I have yet to get the time to try and figure out a new way of running it all right now that involves that pump being in the sump to avoid that happening again so for now a powerhead has once again been placed in the tank.
I changed salt from Instant Ocean to Seachem Reef salt and could not be happier with the results. My corals are opening up again and it seems everything is finally recovering from the relocation of the tank from one room to another. The montipora is finally showing signs of growth after staying the same size for almost a year and that alone is enough to make it worth a change in salt.
I already mentioned the yellow tang being a new addition to the family and it is doing great, is a very hardy eater, and after being "welcomed" (hazed) by the other inhabitants except for the clown goby and the firefish (the firefish actually hid for a week after being so frightened by the bigger yellow tang) all the inhabitants have settled down. the yellow tang after a week of coaxing finally discovered that it loves the taste of dried nori and will almost eat it out of my hand when I am putting it into the tank, that is if it wasn't so shy.
The other newest addition to the tank is a duncan coral. It too is fed regularly and in fact i feed the tank over the duncan and it will gladly eat the leftovers that makes it down to it. It's tentacles have also become sticky enough to where the skunk cleaner will not go near it unless it wants to pull its "whiskers" out of the grasp of the duncan. I believe I am already seeing about 3 heads sprout from the base but I will keep info on that posted as it comes, I have only had it for 2 weeks so I would not be opposed to a speedy growth rate.
I will try to post some new pictures sometime when I get home but if anything you should be able to check out the fts for november as we all gawp and drool over each others setups thx for reading
