DIY 180g Stand build pics

My Dad was in town over Xmas last year and helped me out with the finishing touches on the hickory stand I built for my 180g reef. I was pleased with how it turned out - matches the bathroom and kitchen cabinets and lends a little class to the basement while distracting guests from the ugly fish room behind the aquarium.

    Yes indeed, that wood is different than what most people have. I like it... very unique. Well done!

    That's pretty unique with using the hart wood and sap wood. I made a thick butchers block out of the same stuff. Very tough wood though. It really did a number o work my plainer and jointer. Looks really good.

    I really like to see people build their stands with something other than the normal plywood, etc that you see everywhere
