Has anyone heard of red bugs getting on monti's or is this a acro only pest or is there a similar pest to monti's
No, not on Montipora sp. I've heard of them showing up on LPS corals like Frogspawn before. Montipora can be attacked by monti-eating Nudibranchs though. http://melevsreef.com/id/monti_nudi.html
