Wow, look at all the pictures! It's neat to see how your tank evolved over time. Tell us the details now, tank size, lighting, equipment, maintenance... You've got some very nice coral colonies now. And what happened with the mini-crash? It looks like it recovered nicely only a month later.
Wow! Great blog write up! I love looking at pictures over time. Maybe this is something we should make an informal request for the rest of our members. Thanks for sharing!! Great tank.
Thanks Marc & Jessy. Tank details: 65 gal. Glass Bow-Front w/round corners, 10 gal sump, 10 gal fuge, 2x250 watt 12K or 14k DE's on CV ballast's w/ LumenMax 3's, OctoExtreme 160 P/S, (1) VorTech MP40w (buying a 10mp this Friday). Fish: Two Maroon Clowns, Yellow Tang, Purple Tang, Yellow Clown goby and a Arabian Pseudochromis. Maintenance: 10% weekly water change with daily dosing of additives. This is a NeoZeo system running tank with no reactor. As for the mini-crash. I had a 12" ritteri anemone that deiced to go free floating into my vortech pump. This was while I was light adjusting my coral with multi-able window screen covering the top of the tank. The anemone was looking for more brighter light.
Also it looks like my clowns have a new clutch of eggs. First one in months. Too bad I don't have any rots.
Call Tal, he'll hook you up. He's the biggest breeder on this site.
I know I'm bloging a little late on this tread but I try and go to everyones blob to check out their tanks. Wow is a good response about ya tank. Was nice to see the progresion of the tank. The red monti and them zoo's, bottom left! They grew like crazy, right over that rock in front of them. All I can say is awesome!
Thanks for your comments. Those zoo's grow like weeds. I try to introduce different types and colored zoo's, but the old ones just out grow them. LOL
