Here is the latest updates on my system. Initial details can be found here. http://www.reefaddicts.com/entry.php...breeding-setup
About a week ago, I decided to change my aquascape (Hopefully for the final time).
Here is a pic of the new scape
I have also decided to change direction on my tank. I have always been intrigued by Angels and Butterflies. I have decided to make my tank an SPS only tank. This would allow me to keep Angels and Butterflies. Still need to do some research on which species I am interested in keeping.
Finally, the breeding system has had some highs and lows.
Unfortunately, I have had some changes do to some losses in Broodstock. Here is a summary of what I have in the system now.
Mated pair of A. Occellaris (more on these guys later)
Pair of A. Perucla
Shoal (5) of Threadfin Cardinals
Pair of Black and White A. Occellaris (In 6 gal cube)
However, I did loose the Tomato pair and 3 out of 4 Banggai's

Now to the fun part. When I bought the mated pair of Occy's they had a nest of eggs with them. The previous owner sold me the eggs along with the pair of fish. The eggs hatched on Monday the 22nd. While I have had some losses, the remaining larvae are doing pretty well. I am currently converting them to flake and cyclopeeze. Here is a pic of the eggs and a short video of the larvae.
