I have been looking at both of these products. I wanted to get some input and see what is the best decision.

I'm an mp40 man
Seen both in action, own an MP40W soon to be 2 MP40W. They are INCREDIBLE pumps! Go with the Vortech, you won't be disappointed! !

Please make sure to select the matching category each time you make a new entry. The choices are listed under the editor box. If you are wanting a wave action in your tank, either will do it. I prefer to not see equipment in my tank, such as powerheads and the big boxes. The Vortech's motor will ramp up and down to make the wave, which you will hear since the sound isn't a constant steady hum. So do you want to see the gear, be audibly aware of a pump, or skip the wave entirely?
I just want to get enough current in the tank without having 5 pumps in the tank. I want to have one device and that's it
What size tank?
It is a 72 gallon bowfront
I'd get an MP40w ES for the 72g.
