If you can catch the fish, you can put it in a freshwater bath for 5 minutes. Making sure the temperature and pH match, put the fish in the freshwater and observe it carefully during the 5 minute bath. If you struggles, you may have to take it out sooner. The bath makes some of the cysts fall of its body and gives the fish a measure of relief.

You can presoak sheet nori with a few drops of garlic, then place this in your tank on a feeding clip for the tang to consume. The garlic encourages appetite and a well-fed fish may have the ability to fend off the infestation. You'd have to presoak the nori daily for a few minutes, offering up the same fare daily for a week or two.

That's the fun part, is trying and catching him. As of now he looks a lot better. Still not moving around much. But will have to wait and see.

I have had him for three month and all as been good until this morning. None of the other fish seem to show any signs.

Well he passed away. Will be keeping an eye on the rest to see if they come down with anything. Crossing my fingers. Will be feeding them garlic soaked food for a while.

I'm sorry it didn't help soon enough. Feeding your fish so they are fat and happy seems to always work well for me. Better immune system theoretically.

Thats the kicker. All the fish are fat and happy. I have seen no other issues with any other fish in the tank. They get fed twice a day and atleast a half sheet of nori a day. Well I just keep watching to see if anything else happens for awhile, before adding a replacement fish.
