I have only had this rbta for only about 3 weeks.
Excellent sequence of photos. Thanks for sharing!
Very nice. Can I have 1? Just kiddin' but i'm sure my Amphiprion Clarkii would love to play in 1.
My green one has short tentacles like yours, I would like to find a longer tentacle bubble tip.
how often were you feeding it? and grats on the split awesome photos
i was feeding it once a week a piece of silverside, less than half of it. I don't know y mine has the short ones i wish that mine would reach out like i have seen with many.
Try increasing the flow. Mine were bubbly like yours for the first month, then I ramped up the flow and the tentacles got really long. My smaller BTAs that are about 2" are still too small for the tentacles to get real long but my 6" wide ones are like streamers. It's still up in there air why they get bubbled or elongated. adding more flow might just make them migrate for a while but its worth a shot!
mine will have bubble tips in the morning usually when the lights first come on and will be longer if I fed it recently with no bubble tips....the rest of the time who the hell knows why it does the things it does, lol would like to see some pictures of the happy pair after recovery open and see where the newest one migrated to
nice pics, you keeping both?
