Clowning around

One of the last things to move from the temporary system was the Rose BTA and Onyx perc clownfish. I scooped them out with a container, keeping the anemone and clowns in water. Barely.
But it worked. I had the bowl over the reef, and every 10 minutes I poured in a red cup full of reef water, overflowing the water in the Rubbermaid to get the temperature acclimated. I lowered the container with the clowns and anemone to the substrate and released.
This worked great, until the other clowns noticed the Rose. Even though they had some eggs to tend to...
By the next day, they were in the Rose and chasing off the other pair. That pair has now split up with the male hiding out of sight and the female swimming way over by the bommie. I'm sad about that, but it wasn't exactly guaranteed these guy would stick to their territories. I'll probably remove the smaller pair and place them in the frag tank.
Speaking of the bommie, I moved the Dendros over to that spot, along with the suncorals. For now, that's the best spot until the frag tank is running.

A not so great shot of the pods on the glass just before I cleaned it.
