What is going on with this coral????

Hey all i came down stairs to feed the fish this morning and this is what i found.

I am not sure what was going on (i am referring to the strings coming from the center/mouth) so i grabbed the camera to show you guys and ask the question. Then this afternoon i found this.

Almost looked as if it was puking its guts out literally. Moments later it looks like this.

I had forgot to turn off the flash so i am not sure if that is the reason it retracted or just coincidence. Any input would be great thanks all.

Are you missing a shrimp....or a molt?

Hmmm now that you say that i did see what looked to be parts of a molt this morning or what i thought was a molt. I can't be sure as my peppermint shrimp hides too well when the lights are on i will have to look for him latter tonight. Now this leads me to a new question. What should i be feeding this coral as i thought it was more of a filter feeder?

Wooo Hooo just spotted the peppermint shrimp when i got up from my post but i think you are right it was probably a molt as i have yet to see one for him and i have seen 2 for my fire shrimp so far.

Did some more digging on food and found that they like meaty foods as i am sure most of you already new. So i went ahead and target fed it some brine shrimp. Hmmm i think feels nice and full now. :P

I had this type of in my first reef it did the same thing on a reg basis i belive that it is poo
