Siliconing Baffles into my sump

So I've finally got the glass for the silicone and decided on a sump design. With what I want to do, I've decided to go ahead and use a hang on back fuge (hopefully CPR aquafuge2) instead of making space for it in sump. The layout as it stands is this:
Return Pump/ Baffle Section/ Bubble Tower & Filter Sock & skimmer
The skimmer I got was the AquaMaxx AM200-S Skimmer from our buddies at www.marinedepot.com. So far it has good reviews. I'm excited to get saltwater in this sump and get it skimming.
I would like feedback since this is my first sump ever. Do you see any problems before I move forward with the silicone? (aside from the lack of the raised baffle) I know I'd like the return area to be bigger as well, but there just isn't room for it. The foam inserts are 1.25" thick. Any issues with that distance for baffles?
