So, I have an issue that may be phone or user problem. When I want to reply to a post, I have to be in advanced mode to post, when using my Android. I have the HTC Eris. When I click the button on regular mode it doesn't do a thing.

    I think I recall it being the same way on mine... I'm on an htc evo 4g... but right now it's all busted so I can't double check

    are you going thru the browser on the phone? If so that device is not fast and may just not be able to handle all the information that is needed for you to use it with out the advanced mode.

    if his phone is anything like mine it's more then enough. I actually browse reefcentral forums and quite a few car forums in their regular html format, no mobile versions, watch movies, everything on my phone

    It's a phone with a 1ghz processor for petes sake, some people use slower computers then that still

    oh and on 4g it has download speeds comparable to dsl to boot

    Nothing like your devic. The Eris has a 528MGHz processor and te EVO has a 1GHz processor. there is also a great app called 'TAPATALK" http://www.tapatalk.com/. this is a great little app that has a free version and a pair version for almost all the forums out there. makes it very easy to view and read, reply. Doesn't work with this particular site.

    Yea, I tried the tapatalk on my phone once, I didn't really care for it. I like viewing full versions of sites, and the evo makes that pretty easy

    Actually my eris is pretty fast on web viewing...speed is not the issue. it is only this site that it has an issue with and only the post button on standard mode. very very weird.
