Some random guy named Marc, who posts here every now and then, opines that corals are best viewed and photographed from above. When the pumps are off during feeding I too, like to view the tank from above through the still surface. Last night I took a few pictures, though without the benefit of a top down photo box (someday I would like to get one, but I am busting the budget still buying frags and fish for my relatively new setup). I took some pictures this evening so that I can have a photo record of the coral growth. I though I would share the pictures for those who might be interested. A few things I have noticed: - They do not lie when they say birdsnest is a fast grower! - The red planet frag I got was a light red when I got it. I placed it lower in the tank and it now has its trade mark green base and darker red branches. - FYI and reminder, these are all under Aqua Illumination Sol Super Blue LED ...
