So after finishing up some Gears Of War, I headed to the tanks to feed them. Drop some food in and I am slowly realizing that there is no yellow object darting around. Turned over all of my rock and searched my sump and around the tank, looked all over the house and no Yellow Tang. Three years I had him/her. Sucks. I think the worst part is that I cannot find it. Yes, I was wondering if anybody knew or had a list of aquarium manufactures. Trying to figure out who made my tank, I thought there use to be a sticker on it naming the manufacture, but i cant find it anymore. Trying to figure out if my tank has tempered glass or not. Any help would be greatly appcratied.
i have a 55 gallon reef tank, and im having trouble with the sand i finally got everything stable about 6 months ago and everything looks good exept the sand, detritus appears on my 3-4 inch deep sand bed everyday! i try and stir the sand but its back the next day, i think its because i dont have sand sifters? witch are the best sand sifters? because no detritus grows on my rockwork advice anyone?
So I found my old Aqualog data, which proved helpful. Showed my Alk troubles last year when I was struggling to find a balance. Goal is to maintain at 8dKH. I was testing and dosing daily but struggled to maintain, seemed to hover at 7.6dKH. Info did help, not starting from scratch so to speak, have some data to work with.
