  1. Leptastrea - an interesting coral

    I got this coral in the past, and thought it was pretty neat. It's in the favia family, somewhat like the "war" coral people want. However, this one is far more shaggy. Check out the polyps on this one, which I got a few months ago.

    This one is down on the substrate under a 400w Radium bulb, 42" from the bulb.

  2. A Fraggin' Adventure - Part 2 (Equipment)

    Alright, to give you a better idea of where this is going, lets get a quick equipment run down out of the way. I knew going into this that I wanted a stacked tank system so that it would not take up much space.   3. Hello! Introductory Blog

    Hello, my name is Dylan but online i go by Cael.

    I have a small reef system set up, a mere 20 gallons. It houses a wide variety of coral, fish, and invertebate.
    It was setup in october of last year and was an upgrade from a ten gallon.
    With loads of help and donations from teesquare it has come to be as it is today

  4. How does my parameters look?

    Mag: 1200
    dkh: 9.6
    Ca: 460
    Ph: 8.12
    Temp: 79.0
    Salinity: 1.025
    Nitrate: 10
    Ammonia:0
    Phospate: 0.04

    I also dose the following: Calcium 40 ml; Alk 80 ml & Mag 80 ml every day.

    I am in the process of setting up a ULNS system with the use of brightwell products. I am running into third week now.

    Are the parameters in expected range? If anything that need to be improved what should that be?

  5. Back Yard Frag Farm
