  1. Canopy

    well i have bloging allot lately and you guys have been a big help i am farly new to the salt water and reef but i have had fresh water my whole life so i know allitle more then the average joe so i am going to be building a canopy is there anything i should know before i attempt this endeavor my tank is a 150g it is one of the 15g that is the same length as a 55 but it is pretty tall and wide i guess it is consedered a space saver i am going to be building my own light set up 4- 48in t5ho lights ...

  3. first in sump skimmer... no idea!

    Hopefully in a few days Ill get my new tank which is an 80 gallon cube. Ive been doing some research on in sump skimmers but really cant come to a conclusion. So I figured I'd ask for some input on what I've narrowed it down to. By the way I'm figuring a total water volume of no more then 120 gallons. Here's my choices:

  4. Water Pumping Power!

    My wife brought me home something I've been debating on. I've checked out the new Knoralia Evolution pumps and the Tunze pumps in the recent weeks. Finally selecting the Koralia for their power for the price. I selected the Koralia Evolution 1400 gph pumps.

  5. My Auto Top Off

    So I finally got around to setting up the auto top off. I do spend a lot of time away from the reef and decided that, though I love my wife dearly, she won't always remember to check on the tank. So I spent about 30 dollars on parts from http://www.aquahub.com. I actually got 3 float switches, the third I may add to the reservoir or just hang on to for a spare.
