As you know, the Marineland 400g is pretty heavy. It took 8 of us to lift it into position and place it on the stand. It took four of us to carry the stand in. Combined, it's probably 1600 lbs. I'm home alone, and I want to shift it into position, aligned with the walls of the house. Being an only child, the one thing I've always been good at is coming up with a way to do it myself and not wait until someone can come over. Red cameras are awesome, and don't cost nearly as much as the typical ones used for film making. The body runs about $20,000 (instead of something 10x as expensive) and uses standard Nikon lenses. This is the stuff used for icemakers and to get drinking water from the fridge, sold at Home Depot. The first thing was to break out the forensic gear and determine the trajectory of the dual-hydrogen-singular-Oxygen ...

Today, when I went out to the garage to work on getting the wall insulation installed, I was greeted with a big wet spot coming out from under the garage door. I thought I'd gotten this taken care of last night, but it turns out that I was wrong. Here's that faucet, a simple one with a quarter-turn to shut it off quickly. The leak ...
