  1. Enough doom and gloom

    I took a few pictures today and thought you might enjoy them. Everything was shot with a 50mm f/1.8 lens.

  3. Hints of life in the carnage (of select corals)

    While a number of corals look okay, there are some that were hit really hard. One was a little SPS that never really did anything in the nine months it was in the tank, but decided to take a nosedive during the bacterial overdose. I watched it and a few others turn white, and just left it alone. When checking on this particular acropora (A. milleopora) I noticed that some life did survive even though about 70% perished.

    Alrighty, round 3. This website hates me. I can't log in at all on my phone or tablet, and I can't stay logged in long enough to post on a computer. I love this site and want to be able to participate more. Technology is frustrating.

    Last update was in early December of last year and there have been a lot of changes since then;

    - Changed lighting to all LED, soon to be LED supplemented with T5s. I'm running a combination of Hydra 52s and SOL AI Blues with a single Kessil ...
