OK so i havent posted in ages about my upgrade for a # of reasons, busy, tired, and doubts about going foward after my 2 tanks crashed a few months back, all my fish lived thousands of dollars of corals died that really really put a damper on the upgrade and i just let the 265 sit in place for a while, i finished the drains from the tank to the basement into the 150 gallon rubbermaid into 2 JBJ filter socks. Seven months and one day later, the livestock was moved at last. Well, what's left of it anyway. Actually, we really are making improvements! Our plan for Saturday: 1. Raise the water level in the sump. 2. Raise the skimmer and TC bubble trap higher in the sump to improve functionality. 3. Install skimmate drain line on the skimmer. 4. Install standpipe on sump drain. 5. Run sump water level checks with pump shut off.
